Moody ‘N Cheeky on Jazeera Airways Inflight Magazine

22 Feb

A month ago we were contacted by Jazeera Airways agency that are in charge of their Inflight Magazine as they picked us to be part of their “I Heart Kuwait” series that was published this month as part of the National & Liberation day celebration. We were asked to pick a place that we like to go to in Kuwait and where else would we chose other than the fun and exciting “Shooting Range” :D

It was our first time to be featured in a magazine, and since then people started unexpectedly calling us after they have seen the magazine! Its weird in a way or another but we did enjoy it :) and now we are taking this chance to share it with you, simply because we DO heart Kuwait, we heart our blog and we heart our readers :D

If you are asking why did we chose the shooting range, well if you didn’t go there before they wouldn’t probably know what kind of thrill you are missing! It’s such an amazing place to let off some stress and forget about your hectic day and issues. Holding a real gun is definitely not like how you imagined it would be or as you see it in movies, its heavy and it’s not easy to just aim and shoot (that’s ofourse if you wanna hit the target properly :P).

First time I took Cheeky to this place she didn’t show any excitement, she was complaining that she would probably get a headache even before we enter! However, her face expressions changed 180 degrees after she was done, she was excited, thrilled and wanted to do it again! now that’s more like it ;)

One thing I have noticed every time i go there is that guys SUCK! sorry guys but you do (unless you are an exception :P) I see them leaving the range with their paper that has more than 20 holes and non of them is even close to the 7 circle! seriously guys?

We should set a day where we all bloggers hit the place and start shooting! maybe we can have a competition of the best shooting blogger :P how about that? hit me back with your opinion and maybe we can arrange something.

We would like to thank Jazeera Airways for communicating with us, we appreciate your support :)

One of those Days: Away for a while

23 Dec

Its one of those days when you are supposed to be traveling but you just don’t feel it yet. I had a very busy week preparing for the trip and getting everything ready, yesterday was supposed to be more of a relaxing day, until I started to feel sick, definitely not the right time as am traveling only for 10 days and there will be a wedding and a new years party on the schedule! Right now am half packed, I still need to get some stuff and am still doubting the idea of goin to the doctor, I just don’t wanna bother myself.

I wanna take this moment to thank everyone who asked about us as we have been going slow with the blog lately, thank you, we are still alive, and we will be back better than before, we just need some time i guess. For me  I don’t think I will be blogging in the next 10 days as I will be super busy, but ill be missing this place for sure.

Happy holidays everyone, merry christmas and wish you a happy new year, may it bring you everything you wished for.

Paris: The Champs Élysées

6 Aug

I bet all of you know this place and probably been to it too, for me it was my first time, so of course I gotta post about it :P

The Champs Elysees is considered one of the most famous streets around the world, it’s famous for the shops it has, the cafes and restaurant, the wide area to walk and the Arc de Triomphe at the end of it. What I liked about it is how spacious it is, though it’s always full of people walking, shopping and eating. It was such a great exercise to walk there back and forth.

Ofcourse you will see alot of Arab people, and your ears start catching words here and there from different nationalities, its weird how you feel when you know you’re not in an Arab country and you hear someone speaking Arabic. It happend also that the Bastille day was when we were they, sadly we arrived around 11 am and the celebration was over!

The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most important highlights of Paris, I have seen so many pictures of it but you don’t realize how big it is until you see it with your own eyes.

One of the good meals that I had was at Leon’s restaurant at the Champs Elysees, I enjoyed a good muscles dish Mexican style.

So when they say that Paris is the city of romance and love, now I understand.

Paris: Here & There

24 Jul

As you all know, 2 weeks ago I went to Paris for the first time of my life. Am always excited to visit a new country, but the only bad thing about this was that me going with my parents….alone!

Our trip was for 8 days and only inside Paris, I thought it was abit too much, but my parents were convinced that it’s ok, so I just went with the flow.

I honestly LOVED the country, the people, and the weather. I have only been to London in Europe, and comparing Paris to London, I would pick Paris no doubt.

The main places that we visited were: The Champs Elysees, Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower, Sine River, Disneyland and the rest of the historical places.

I fell in love with the weather, it was absolutely amazing, and it was a mix of cold, rain and sun. It felt like the best winter you could have in Kuwait.

I had my boring days cuz I just wanted time off my parents, but that didn’t stop me from appreciating the little things. I’ll be posting more detailed posts about the things that I liked there so stay tuned. I know it’s taking me a lot of time but everything will be back to normal once am back to Kuwait :)

Would I visit Paris again? No doubt.

Its Good To Be Back

17 Jul

Its weird how we die for a holiday, time away from everyone and everything, but soon we start missing everything and just wana be back to our old routine!

Am back from Paris, it was a very nice holiday, kind of thought it was long, but again don’t blame I was alone with my parents, anyway…ill be posting alot about it soon once i pull myself together and catch up with everything.

I missed you all, I missed Cheeky….thank you for keeping up ;***

Will be right back

One Of Those Days: Not Around

6 Jul

I haven’t been active lately as am not in Kuwait right now, I have traveled a couple of days ago to my home town and leaving tomorrow to Paris :D It’s my first time so let’s hope it turns out well.

I have been busy with family and a different kind of routine. Eating heavy meals, sitting with family and relatives, going out, staying up and waking up late too, I feel bothered abit by this routine, but I guess anything better than work right?

Tomorrow is my flight to Paris, since I have been only to Europe once (London) am not so sure how Paris would be that different, I didn’t like London much so let’s see about this one. The thing am excited the most about this trip is that am going to Euro Disney, that should be fun right? True am 26 years old but I have a baby’s heart :P

I think I’ll be away for awhile, but when am back ill have a lot to share with you guys :) In the mean time, does anyone have any tips, special places, recommendation for Paris? I appreciate any help!

I’ll miss everyone around here, take care till then :)
