In the 20th anniversary of Empire Magazine (the largest selling film magazine in Britain) they published a special edition that was guest-edited by Steven Spielberg.

Under the title “The Birthday Portfolio”, Empire had an exclusive star-studded photo shoot that paid tribute to some of the most iconic moments in movies in the last 20 years (1989 – 2009). The 20th anniversary issue featured over 27 Hollywood stars reliving some of their famous performances in their normal everyday attire.

so.. i came across this photo.. and I have to say… its so inspiring!!!

not only to lose weight (what girl doesn’t want that flat belly?) ;p

but inspiring in terms of changing the way you see things..

as somebody who’s been concerned about body image since i was about 16 (10 long years ago) ;p

i have acquired some stretch marks – and i do obsess about how they are ugly..

but.. now.. after seeing this.. they somehow don’t bother me so much..

but it kinda also helps you realise that your perception is sometimes more important than reality..

and the way you carry yourself and the confidence you have in your supposed flaws.. helps shape who you are..

so here’s to changing our perspectives.. a little bit more positively…

Shanghai Tang were nice enough to remember us on Valentines day and sent us a sweet cute gift :D

We received the gift all wrapped up in a cute wrapping paper with their stamped sticker and a personal note saying Happy Valentines day :) Whats the gift?

It’s a home fragrance called “Jasmine Rain”, I really liked it and it lasts for a while!

Thank you Shanghai Tang and a special thank you to QUEEN (yeah she likes to be called that :P she just doesn’t know that am kinda mocking :P) Hiba Al Mansour for her sweet gift, WE LOVE YOU :D

the last who’s hotter post ended in a bit of a stalemate.. with not many people having an opinion about either liz hurley or kiera knightly.. in my opinion.. i don’t love either!! ;p

but in this post.. we’re taking the hottest of the hottest… (as all the angels are!)
