barbies are evil?

Iran’s morality police are cracking down on the sale of Barbie dolls to protect the public from what they see as pernicious western culture eroding Islamic values, shopkeepers said on Monday.
As the West imposes the toughest ever sanctions on Iran and tensions rise over its nuclear program, inside the country the Barbie ban is part of what the government calls a “soft war” against decadent cultural influences.
“About three weeks ago they (the morality police) came to our shop, asking us to remove all the Barbies,” said a shopkeeper in a toy shop in northern Tehran.

Our fellow blogger and friend Q8Rain took a huge step forward towards humanity and helping people out. Whats great about this is that she made a commitment to help kids with cancer, her commitment is to try to make them happy and smile once a month, and we have to help her out too.
To some of you the word Cancer is just a word that means a disease, some can’t even say it thinking if they do then they bring bad luck to themselves, and some who knows exactly what it means because it’s either they suffer from it or was cured. Whatever that word means to you, you should never underestimate it or the people who suffer from it.
I personally had a friend who used to have leukemia and gladly was cured from it. I know for a fact that me staying around her and act like nothing is going on was the best thing that ive given her. People who suffer from cancer need just SOMEONE to be around, to talk to, to make them laugh, and this is the whole point of this campaign.
What you can do?
Theres gonna be a party for the kids with cancer every month at the NBK Hospital, again..its EVERY MONTH! All your asked to do is to donate something, toys, coloring books, games, educational stuff, whatever you can afford, they are kids and believe me they aren’t demanding, we just wana make them smile and have a good time. If you think you have more ideas you can participate in to make the party more joyful, please don’t hesitate.
When?
Tomorrow the 3rd of October is the first party, It will start at 10:30 till 12:30 and we hope we can make those 65 kids see life differently for those 2 hours at least.

What did we do?
We tried to provide whatever we can in such a short period and wrap them, hopefully next month we can think of something more creative :) I wanna thank also my bestie Yayoo for donating some toys and also That Al Salasil who were very welcoming to the idea and were very happy to help and send us lots of kids books.
We wanna thank Q8Rain for this thoughtful idea and hope all the bloggers can take this seriously and act up on it. It will not cost you much believe me, you can make someone happy by doing this, so think about it. We also added a badge on our side banner to be an official supporter. I will personally wear YELLOW tomorrow cuz gold is the color of childhood cancer ribbon, so why don’t we all do that?

Have you ever felt like you wana play those old handheld games but of course they aren’t available around and very rare to find? Well this website gives you the chance to play these games on line and it just feels like the real ones. You have a choice of 25 different kind of games that you can control with your keyboard. These games are considered stupid and very old fashioned, however it felt nice playing them all over again :D
NEW: Toy Dog That POOPS!

I came across this toy online and i thought it’s kinda disgusting to share, but oh hell we like random and weird things :P
This toy is supposed to be a puppy that you walk around the house, you feed them some sort of a play dog (which is also nontoxic and kids can eat eat) and after that, they POOP! You different kinds of shuffles to clean after your dog.
Now let’s talk serious here, WHO THE HELL COULD THINK OF THIS IDEA?? Why would i buy my kid a dog toy that poops and they can actually EAT the poop!! Wow, it amazes me how people are desperate to entertain our innocent kids :P

Well it looks like Chucky will be back for real! A new remake was suppose to be released this summer but got delayed due to budget issues so it will be released summer 2011. The story will be the same story of the first movie of Child’s Play when a serial killer gets shot by the police and his blood gets inside a doll just before he dies which transfers his soul. In order to get his soul out of that ugly doll, he must perform some sort of a voodoo chant on the first person he told his true identity to.
Maybe very few of you would be interested in watching this movie, but I know I am!! Why? Well because it takes me way back in time when I was a kid and how this movie was a hit and somehow became part of my life! It would be like watching one of those old cartoons that you used to watch when you were a kid.

Moody Loves Board Games
22 AugYes am very old fashioned when it comes to board games!! Since i was a kid, my 2 favorite games were Lego and any board game. I used to play alot of these with my brothers and cousins; it used to be the best way to spend the weekend.
I kinda miss those days, when the simple games used to entertain us for hours and it always used to bring the family together. I remember we used to spend atleast 3 hours playing monopoly at home, my brothers used to take over the bank and the cheap places are left for me with my metal shoe. I would love it if i could play again with my friends now, it’s just we need a place and nothing to worry about to enjoy this game.
While growing up, i got introduced to Cluedo! Now that was the coolest game of all time. I have been always interested in crime shows and stuff like that, and this game was perfect. The bad thing is that not everyone enjoys playing it cuz they SUCK at it and wouldn’t understand what to do exactly, yeah well it was pretty simple for me, i would love to play it again now!
I played alot of scrabble online, but never had the chance to play it for real! I have seen the Arabic version of it, but i think it would be much easier in English! Am just scared that people would call me grandma if they saw me playing it :(
Pictionary is the best game that i have been playing with my cousins lately!!! Its sooo much fun, alot of joking and swearing is involved in our own version. I used to play it with my cousins, mum and aunt and you can only imagine the funny drawings that we get while playing! It’s weird how each person thinks and draws something way different than the other. Am gonna try playing it with my friends one day and see how it’s gonna go.

I believe alot of you remember this toy that we had back in the day. It was very popular and almost everyone had it! We as kids used to think it’s a cool funny toy. But now when I look at it all I could think of is “WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING!!” People who invented this game are perverts!! Lol! I mean if this toy was invented at this time I would think its funny and people will be putting it in their cars and everything, but am SURE it wouldn’t be for kids, no parent would buy it for their kids at this time!!
So were they trying to encourage peeing everywhere and on everyone?
Or they thought it would be funny to see a toy boy peeing when you slide his pants down?
