Ads: Push to Add Drama by TNT

A very creative and interesting ad was done by TNT network in Belgium. What they have done is that they set up a button saying “Push to add Drama” in the middle of a quiet square in Belgium. After a long wait for someone to actually push it, a whole dramatic scene starts happening in front of the crowd! it actually made me smile and cracked up over the girl on the bike, that’s just so random LOL. I very much enjoy this kind of creative advertising :)

this weekend was a bit of a disaster and i was very ill and did not want to get out of bed and just wanted to sleep…
yesterday my niece (she is about 19 months old) managed to go to a pet shop to buy a guinea pig and came out with a cat..
firstly, i would like to say… we all need to take lessons from kids!! they are so manipulative!!! and get everything..
secondly, i would like to highlight! that the cat – is actually a kitten that is 3 months old.. and was running away from my niece because she kept chasing him..
thirdly, the poor kitty just wanted to explore the house but my niece decided to give her a lesson.. she took the balloon upto MAOWW (the kitten) and told her.. maoww – in a way that u say.. listen.. and then said bidee (her word for balloon)..
maaoowww.. biddeee… maowww bideee..
well atleast the balloon and the cat are not well acquainted?!?!?!?!?!
and who lets a 19 month old pick the name of a cat! like seriously! the name reminds me of Chairman Mao!!

why are kids so flexible?

it has been a few days that I have wanted to post..
but days just keep getting hectic!!!
i was thinking about my niece the other day…
she’s become so naughty and she doesn’t listen to me anymore – about 18 months but she already seems to have hit the terrible twos…
She calls herself Ofie cause she can’t say her name.. so me and her play a game where we start looking for Offfieee…
and she looks under tables and chairs for herself..
she’s just adorable mashallah.. i just hope she gets a little less naughty and a little more easy to manage!!
i love kids.. but what I am most impressed by is how flexible my niece is!!!! its just not fair!!!!
like do we all have that flexibility and lose it as we grow older??
and why do kids have to be so flexible – shouldn’t it be the other way around?
Any thoughts?

so it was a lovely weekend in kuwait!
but the flight to kuwait started so strangely and got stranger and stranger!
i’m sure most of u don’t know what i look like.. but i have darkish skin.. blackish-brown hair.. and brown eyes..
so keep that in mind when you hear the first part of this story..
so i check in at dubai airport.. go through immigration.. and go straight to costa.. desperately in need of a coffee!!!
so i ask for my coffee… and the lady asks me where am i from.. i ask her where do you think i’m from????
she looks at me and says “i don’t know mam – but you look like britney spears”
i stare at her with a blank face ;p then recover and say while i hold me hair “i think so too”
and she laughs and goes your eyes mam ;p
well.. then 3 other people start trying to convince me i’m not from where i say i am and i have half spanish / half brazilian / half something / half anything!
very entertaining ;p
