Music: Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey (Elizabeth Grant, 1986) is a new singer that is definitely worth listening to if you are open to new music and style. The first time I heard her voice I thought she was an old woman with a very strong voice, but when I saw the video I realized she’s a very pretty lady that reminded me of the 70s style and how they used to look and dress. My first impression was “not so bad” , maybe I wasnt in the right mood to listen to such music, after a while it got into me and it kinda sticks in ur mind for a while!

I honestly tried to listen to other songs for her, couldn’t find anything better than “Born to Die”. The music is very strong, the video is very well done (technique wise) and well..she IS pretty :) However, when I heard her singing live I was kinda disappointed, but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s making great music.

well we all know that all of the victoria’s secret angels are hot hot hot hot hot hot hot!!!

the last who’s hotter post ended in a bit of a stalemate.. with not many people having an opinion about either liz hurley or kiera knightly.. in my opinion.. i don’t love either!! ;p

but in this post.. we’re taking the hottest of the hottest… (as all the angels are!)

This is pretty funny and weird at the same time! the 8 years old Juliet is singing some hardcore metal song about loving her dog and fish!! sounds weird yeah but somehow cool lol! and guess what, the video was shot by her mum, that’s some encouraging family you got there :P *head bangs*

Spartacus: The Wait is OVER!

YEP!!! the waiting is finally over! 17 days are left for the show to get back to our small TV screens with lots of action. Last time I updated you on this was back in July when I was just excited to know that they were shooting the next season. Since then, I have been making myself busy with watching other shows, but there’s always a missing spot for Spartacus :P  

What am I looking forward in this season?

Well, for a start, am not sure how much am gonna accept the new character of Spartacus played by Liam McIntyre. I don’t have a doubt that he will do a great job, but am sure everyone whose into this show is missing the real Spartacus Andy Whitfield (R.I.P).

Am so looking forward to see what happened with Lucretia! Yeah not all of you like her but I DO! her character is so different and it’s just a strong one in this show for me. Not to forget that am so excited to see how her relationship is gonna be like with Ilithyia who left her to die in the last season.

Gannicus !!! yeah he’s back! and who doesn’t like Gannicus ;)

Oldies: Busta Rhymes

The other day I was listening to Chris Brown’s song Featuring Busta Rhymes and I remembered how cool Busta was back in the 90s. I remember he was a big hit back then and I really enjoyed a couple of his songs then. It’s bad that we don’t see any of his singles anymore, however him being featured in a lot of the new hits is cool by itself. He definitely has a talent when it comes to rapping and he’s just different with his style. A fact about Busta that you might not know is that he is Muslim.

TV: Whats On Moody’s List?

After my addiction to Modern Family & Up All Night, I have started to look for some new cool shows that are easy and fun to watch, I tried to take some recommendations from here and there, but at the end its a matter of taste and different interests, so I started watching trailers untill I decided on a couple that am enjoying VERY much :D

Here is a show that’s only 20 minutes long and funny! Not TOO funny of course, but they have some good jokes. This show is called 2 Broke Girls, which talks about to waitresses in their mid twenties. One of them comes from a poor family and struggling through her life to earn money, the other comes from a very rich family but her dad went to jail so she has to do this so she wouldn’t end up on the street. The show is still new, but the more I watch the more I like it, or probably get used to it, give it a shot :)

Next on the list is Mike & Molly! another comedy show that’s been on for 2 seasons so far, I don’t know how I didn’t hear about it before but it has some good laughs! The show talks about Mike & Molly who are both overweight and struggling with their life and relationships. No it’s not like they make fun of fat people, but they show you how they feel about it with some good laughs here and there. Its worth watching specially that I loved Molly’s character in Bridesmaids, I thought she was hilarious :)

If you liked the movie Friends with Benefits then you probably will like this one too. The story is very similar but it goes around a group of friends trying to find the perfect mate, the funny stories of their dates, problems and family issues. I see it as a mix of the movie and Friends! still fun to watch.

The last one on the list is a bit different, it’s not a comedy show and it’s not totally my type of shows but somehow got me interested. I got to know about this show through His & Hers and the trailer caught my attention. Person of Interest is a show that revolves around Finch and John Reese who both come from different backgrounds and work together to help to prevent crimes before happening based on a secret intelligent machine. Part of my interest in this show was having Michael Emerson in the show, he had a deep impact on LOST and am just curious to see him in other roles.

Thats it for my current list, am happy with these shows now, of course adding to them Modern Family, Desperate Housewives and Up All Night (Cant wait for Spartacus), I think this amount of shows is more than enough to keep me busy for a long time :D what about you, whats on your list?
