yesterday was a funny day at work..
i got to work nice and early and managed to finish all the pending work early on.
we had a new business pitch so i was looking forward to that…
at around 2:40, 20 minutes before we are expecting the potential clients to come to our offices.. the lights go off!!!
in the whole building! there is mass panic as the air conditioning and elevators stopped working for a bit…
i’m the sort of person that thinks nothing of climbing down 23 flights of stairs – however a lot of others believed they were trapped in the office forevermore ;p
the elevator started working and the lights kept coming on and off intermittently - however, i am shocked that people panicked so much! seriously people! this is dubai – chill and something will get sorted!!!!
but on the bright side :D we got to leave work early.. even if the new business pitch was disastrous ;p
