Aaliyah was one of my best hip-hop and R&B artists while growing up, she’s more like Ciara at this time. She made great music in a very short while and worked with big artists like Timbaland and Missy Elliot. Sadly, she didn’t live for too long and died in a tragic airplane crash while traveling to shoot one of her videos. She wasn’t only a singer, she was also an actress and a model, and she definitely had the looks and the voice for it.
